Match’In: Pilotprojekt zur Verteilung von Schutzsuchenden mit Hilfe eines algorithmengestützten Matching-Verfahrens

Mit dem Projekt „Match’In“ verfolgen wir das Ziel, die Verteilung von Schutzsuchenden auf die Kommunen besser zu organisieren. Mit einem im Laufe des Pilotprojektes entwickelten Algorithmus werden die Voraussetzungen und Bedürfnisse der Schutzsuchenden sowie die vorhandenen Strukturen und Ressourcen der Kommunen in eine stärkere Übereinstimmung gebracht („Matching“). So sollen Bedürfnisse von Schutzsuchenden besser berücksichtigt, das Potenzial von Migration für kommunale Entwicklung besser genutzt, Integration und Teilhabe verbessert und Sekundärmigration verringert werden.

Match’In: Pilot project for the placement of asylum seekers and refugees with the help of an algorithm-based matching system

Our aim in the „Match’In“ project is to improve the distribution and allocation process of asylum seekers and refugees from the federal states in Germany to the municipalities. With the help of an algorithm, developed as part of the project, we want to bring the characteristics and needs of those seeking protection and the existing structures and resources of the municipalities into closer alignment (“matching”). The project’s goal is to help to better address the needs of persons seeking protection, to utilize the potential of migration for municipal development, improve integration and participation, and reduce secondary migration.
